Richard Lee Lagler

Richard Lee Lagler died December 7, 2013 at the age of 68 surrounded by his loving family. Richard was born April 1, 1945 in Indianapolis to Karl Richard and Lillie Marie (nee Throgmorton) Lagler. A lifelong resident of Indianapolis, he spent many years as a Master Mechanic most recently at Tom Wood Pontiac GMC. He enjoyed hunting, woodworking and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his devoted wife of 29 years Jeannine Lager; children Richard Lagler Jr (Melissa), Amy Roberts (Kevin), William Hampton (Molly), Rebecca Herrera (Mike Soto), and Timothy Hampton; grandchildren Scott Lagler, Amanda, Billy and Tabitha Hampton, and Brandon and Justin Herrera; and sister Linda Houser. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Leon Lagler. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 6 PM Thursday, December 12 at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St, Indianapolis. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
