Richard L. Skinner

Richard L. "Dick" Skinner, 72 of Indianapolis passed away April 20, 2013. He was born in Indianapolis on July 5, 1940 to Joseph and Eleanor Skinner. Dick served in the US Navy from 1958 until being honorably discharged with a Good Conduct Medal in 1964. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Cherry Park Campers Association and Maple Creek Country Club as well as an avid fisherman. He is preceded in death by his parents. Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Rita A. Skinner, his sons, Doug Skinner, David (Pamela) Skinner, a sister, Patti Smith, two brothers, Bill Skinner and Roger Skinner. Friends may visit with Dick's family from 4-7 PM Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN. Entombment will be in Washington Park East Cemetery. Contributions may be made in his name to the Alzheimer's Association, 9135 N.
