Richard L. Dabson

Richard L. Dabson, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2015, just short of his 81st birthday. He was born May 27, 1934, in Janesville, WI, the son of the late Louis A. and Clara Helen (Hummer) Dabson. He married Joyce Miller on October 22, 1954. Richard retired from the University of California Irvine in 1995. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Joyce Dabson; five children, Leslie D. Dabson, Louis A. (Sherri) Dabson, Theodore W. (Donna) Dabson, Thomas J. (Lori) Dabson, and Gregory D. Dabson; nine grandchildren, Theresa Chastain, Jennifer Walwrath, Larrissa Bryan, Alisha Holbrook, Brian Holbrook, Jessi Dabson-Campos, Timothy Dabson, Justin Dabson, Cassandra Dabson; and eight great grandchildren, Kahlum Walwrath, Trent Walwrath, Nina Walwrath, Annabelle Campos, Abigail Dabson, Zachary Chastain, Jacob Chastain, and Connor Chittum. He was preceded in passing by two sisters, Joan Griggs and Jean Jones. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 23, 2015, at Hamilton Memorial Park, 4180 Westfield Road, Noblesville.
