Richard John Yurasko

Richard Yurasko, 87, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully April 9^th, 2023. He was born in Indianapolis August 28^th, 1935, to parents John and Alice (Davis) Yurasko.

Richard grew up in Indy, and graduated from Howe High School.

He worked as a sheet metal model maker at Stewart Warner + CF Roark for many years before retiring in 1998.

On April 30^th, 1983, he married the love of his life, Ms. Mary Lime. They shared 39 wonderful years together.

Richard was a strong, hard-working gentleman. He and Mary loved spending time together, traveling and watching NASCAR. In his free time, he enjoyed playing golf and building RC model planes.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Yurasko; five daughters and three sons, and 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be Friday April 14th, at 10am and Mass will begin at 11am, all at St. Simon Catholic Church.  Richard will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery.
