Richard Hugh Cunningham

Richard Hugh Cunningham, 96 of Indianapolis passed away on April 28, 2013. He was born June 10, 1916 in Bainbridge, IN. He graduated from Bainbridge High School in 1934. He served in the Army Air Corp during WWII. In 1947, he married Bonnie Griner. They had two sons, Richard Hugh and Ronald. Most of his working career was in the food industry, spending 24 years with Regal Foods, Inc. as a buyer. He retired in1981, after which he did volunteer work at Community Hospital North. He was a member of St. Matthews Episcopal Church. Surviving to cherish his memory are his sons, Richard and Ronald (Elaine), 4 grandchildren, Jennifer, Jeff, Kelly and Patrick and one great-grandson, Ty. Friends may visit with Hugh's family from 3-7 PM Wednesday at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis. Services will be held at 10 AM Thursday at St. Matthews Episcopal Church, 8320 E. 10th St., Indianapolis. Interment will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
