Richard Lee Edde

Richard L. Edde, passed away on September 30, 2026 at the age of 78. Richard was born in Nashville, TN on April 28, 1948. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps. during the Vietnam War. Richard worked as a Laborer for Ford Motor Company, from which he retired.

Richard and his late wife, Carol, were previously active members of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carol A. (Lanning) Edde; and his siblings: Billy, Betty, Aggie and Ruby.

Richard is survived by his children, Benjamin L. Edde (Jessica) and Timothy Edde; and one grandson, Carter.

Friends may gather from 9am until 11am on Wednesday, October 14, 2026 at Flanner Buchanan – Memorial Park (9350 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN), where funeral services will immediately follow, beginning at 11am. Burial will be in Marion National Cemetery on Thursday, October 15th.
