Richard Clement

December 22, 1925 — February 20, 2016

Richard S. Clement 90, diedpeacefully at the Barrington Plaza with members of his family on February 20,2016. He was born in Gloucester Massachusetts. After graduating from CurtisHigh School on Staten Island he joined the Army and served as a mine detectorin General Patton's Third Army in Germany. After his discharge from the Army heattended the University of California at Berkeley, graduating with a degree inelectrical engineering in 1950. He joined the General Electric Company after graduationand served at several company plants, rising to Manager of Manufacturing of thecompany's Protective Devices Department. He left G.E. in 1971 to join Kay BeeToy and Hobby Shops, Inc. where he served as a Vice President of storeoperations.

Richard served hiscommunity in several ways, serving as a member of a School Board and on a HighSchool Building Commission. He is survived by his wife Suzanne, six children,eleven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

A private MemorialService will be held at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park North, 2706Kessler Blvd West Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46228 on Sunday, February 28, 2016.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Pancreatic CancerFoundation.
