Richard Arliss Gaither

Richard Arliss Gaither 78, of Indianapolis, passed away, July 9, 2011. Richard was a Photographer for the State of Indiana serving under Governors Whitcomb, Bowen, Orr and Bayh. He was also the Photographer for the Indiana State Senate. He was an Army Veteran. He was a member of Covenant Community Church, Optimist Club and the 4C’s RV Club. He was preceded in death by his wife Olivia D. Buggs Gaither and sister Marlene Maxey. He is survived by sons: Henri (Beverly) and Geoffrey (KiKi) Gaither; grandsons: Jordan, Taylor and Austin and sister Cynthia Akers. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm, Friday, July 15, 2011 at Covenant Community Church, 5640 N. Cooper Road, Indianapolis. Services will be at noon, July 16, 2011 with visitation from 10 am until service time at Covenant Community Church. Entombment will follow at Washington Park North Cemetery.
