When Richard had free time he enjoyed fishing, golfing, and motorcycles. He had even began practicing martial arts and earned his brown belt in Karate.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, William and Dorothy.
He is survived by: his loving wife of 38 years, Robin (Riddle) Wells; children, Rebecca (Phillip) Irwin, Jonathon William (Wendy) Wells, Gregory Wells (Maria Smith), and Zachary Wells; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and a host of many other relatives and friends.
