Richard Allen Castor

Richard Allen Castor 68 of Carmel, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014. Dick ("Pooh") was born July 20, 1945 in Indianapolis to the late Elba and Doris Castor. Dick worked in the construction and custom home building business. He retired from Bee-Mar Construction Company as Construction Manager in 2000. He enjoyed cars and riding his motorcycle. However, doting on his family was his greatest passion. Friends and family are invited to gather on Tuesday, May 27 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan-Carmel . There will be a private family interment. Dick is survived by his wife, MaryAnna Castor; children, Wendy S. Castor and Rick R. ( Kim ) Castor; stepson, Stephen A. ( Patty ) Foster; grandchildren, Kendall and Landon Castor, Alyssa Holst, Dianna Foster and Austin Denham. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Trudi Sue Castor. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society for Hamilton County, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or the American Kidney Fund.
