Ressie (Parrott) Lash

Ressie (Parrott) Lash, 91, ofIndianapolis, passed away, August 12, 2016. Ressie was born in Salvisa, Kentuckyon May 26, 1925 the late Shelley and Margaret (Isham) Parrott.

She was member of FlemingGarden Christian Church for over 70 years. Ressie enjoyed being a homemaker,mother to three children. She was awonderful cook and her kitchen was her domain.

Ressie is survived by herloving husband of 71 years, Edward Lee Lash, whom she married on May 27, 1945after meeting on the west side of Indianapolis at Bridgeport Brass. They wereblessed with three children: Shelly (Claudia) Lash, Vickie (John) Gandiello,and Donald (Darlene) Lash. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and severalgreat-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 11am to1pm, Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Flanner and Buchanan-Speedway, where herfuneral service will immediately follow at 1pm.
