Rebecca Naomi Viles Terry, 64, of Indianapolis passed away on October 27, 2025. She was born on April 5, 1961, in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was united in marriage to Anthony Terry, in 1990, and they shared a loving marriage creating beautiful memories for 35 years.
Rebecca, also widely known as Aunt Becky, was known for her generous heart, devotion to family, and unwavering confidence. Throughout her life she enjoyed crafting, gift giving, chatting for hours with her loved ones, and was deeply devoted to Be Rose International. At Be Rose, she was a sponsor to 2 young boys from West Africa, Mohamed Square and Abubakar Conteh. She cared deeply about being sure the children of this village knew they were cared for. She is survived by her husband - Anthony Terry, children - Kortney D. Terry and Katelyn R. Terry, and sisters - Virginia L. Pitman, Darlene K. Viles, Lori A. Asher, Theresa L. Jenkins.
She was preceded in death by her parents - Patrick C. Viles and Nora E. Viles, child - Amanda J. Viles-Wagner, siblings - David "Duke" K. Phelps, Patricia O. Viles, Richard P. Viles, Sandra M. Viles, and beloved dog - Oliver H. Terry "Mommy's Shadow".
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St. Indianapolis, IN, 46229, from 12PM-2PM.
A funeral service will begin, following the visitation at 2PM. Rebecca will be laid to rest in Washington Park East Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Be Rose International, in memory of Madam Rebecca. https://beroseintfoundation.org/
