Rebecca Joyce (Page) Oatts

was born in Hazard, Kentucky, to the late Nehemiah Sr. and Helen Page on July 3, 1953. She was the second born of five.

"Becky" resided in Indianapolis, Indiana and graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in 1971. From there, she was employed at Central State Hospital for 23 years. Rebecca was united in marriage in 1984 to Danny R. Oatts, Sr., who preceded her in death. Together they raised six children.

A true firm believes in Jesus, Sister Oatts recieved Christ at a very early age. She was a devoted member to her church, the Gospel of the Kingdom. She enjoyed her family, singing, writing music, and was shockingly, quite the artist.

Sister Oatts was a former Junior Choir director for the Pentecostal Church of God. She was also a free-hearted giver to charities and organizations overseas.

Rebecca Oatts was called home to be with the Lord on June 3, 2016. She leaves to cherish her memories, her children; Shay A. Page, Danny R. Oatts, Jr., Brittany S. Oatts, Kellie S. Oatts, Daylen L. Oatts, and Darren A. Oatts; daughters-in-law, Deniece Page, and Tiffany Oatts; siblings, Patricia Patton, Sandra Harris, Nehemiah Page, Jr., and Vicki Parker; seven grandgirls; Sharday, Simone, Laila, Saniah, Danni, Bailee, and Reagan; along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Rebecca touched many hearts and souls with encouraging words, humor, and life lessons that we will forever cherish. She will be greatly missed.

Visitation will take place on Friday, June 10, 2016 from 10am – 12pm at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East. 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis. Funeral service will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 12pm.
