Rebecca Jo Appleman

Rebecca Jo Appleman, 62 of Indianapolis passed away April 12, 2013. She was born February 16, 1951 in Indianapolis to Eugene and Ruth Jean Venne. She graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelors and Masters Degrees and received her Certificate of Administration in EPPSP from Butler University. She was a past National Treasurer of Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority. She worked for the Indianapolis Public Schools from 1975 to 1993 and for the MSD Lawrence Township from 1994 until retiring in 2010. Surviving to cherish Becky's memory are her husband, Phil, her son, Evan Appleman, her parents, Eugene and Ruth Jean Venne, brothers, Gerald (Jeaninne) Venne and Mike (Marcia) Venne, her sisters, Debbie (Rusty) Bush and Karen Venne as well as several nieces and nephews. Contributions can be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society or the Lawrence Township Education Foundation. A Celebration of her life will be held 11 AM Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN.
