Rebecca “Becky” Ann (Elliott) Jackson, age 62, left this earthly life on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at Springhurst Health Campus in Greenfield, Indiana. Becky was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Robert A. and Beatrice A. Elliott on November 7, 1961. She remained a resident of Indianapolis until a week before her death, when her cancer necessitated that she seek hospice care. Becky graduated from Warren Central High School in 1980. She worked several years for NGS, National Guardian Services, in the Medicare coding department.
Becky was preceded in death by her parents and her older sister, Nancy D. Welling of New Palestine. She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Keys (Donald) of Indianapolis, brother Thomas Elliott (Deena) of Knightstown, and sister Judith Publow (Curt) of Martinsville. There are also eleven nieces and nephews that will continue to share memories of Aunt Becky.
Becky had a special connection and love for animals. As a young girl, she collected horse figurines that she played with like Barbies. When Becky joined 4-H she got her own horses that she trained to show. Becky always had at least one, usually more, cat, dog, or ferret to keep her company. Most of these were rescues that she felt called to give a home.
