Rebecca Forrester Lundberg

Rebecca "Becky" Forrester Lundberg Of Carmel, Indiana passed away April 7, 2014 at the age of 50. She was born on September 9, 1963 in Nashville, Tennessee to Geraldine Hopkins Forrester and the late, Grady Nelson Forrester. Becky was raised in Tullahoma, Tennessee and was a 1985 Cum Laude graduate of Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina where she received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. She was a member of the Fidele Society (later adopted and initiated by Chi Omega) while attending college. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Blake Eric Lundberg and daughters, Emily and Anna Lundberg. In addition to her husband and daughters she leaves her mother, Geraldine Hopkins Forrester of Tullahoma, TN, two brothers, Nelson Forrester, Jr. of Cookeville, TN (Nancy) and Andy Forrester of McMinnville, TN, mother-in-law, Joann Lundberg of Petoskey, MI, and sister-in-law Amy Dozeman (Doug) of East Grand Rapids, MI. She leaves 1 nephew and 8 nieces. She was preceded in death by her father, Grady Nelson Forrester and sister, Christine Forrester Pittenger. Becky spent her entire career in the insurance industry and was most recently Assistant Vice President of Specialty Lines for RLI Insurance in Peoria, Illinois. She loved her industry and made many life-long friendships during her career. Prior to settling in Indiana, Becky and her family spent time in Durham, North Carolina, St. Petersburg and Tampa, Florida and Peoria, Illinois. She always thought of others first and was a very generous, giving and kind individual. Her dimpled smile, friendly demeanor and thoughtfulness will be missed by all who knew her. Visitation will take place at Carmel United Methodist Church 621 S. Range Line Road Carmel, Indiana 46032 from 11:00 to 2:00 on Monday, April 14, 2014 with the funeral immediately following.
