Rebecca "Becky" Blair

Rebecca L. Blair, 65, of New Castle, left this world too soon, on November 30th, 2025. She was born in Richmond, Indiana to Jim and Esther Kaucher.

Becky grew up in Centerville, Indiana and graduated from Centerville Senior High in 1978. She then attended Reid Memorial Hospital School of Radiologic Technology in Richmond, Indiana. She became a licensed X-Ray tech and worked in several places including 22 years at Henry County Memorial Hospital in New Castle, Indiana.

Becky had an adventurous spirit. After graduating from Radiology school, she moved to Deadwood, South Dakota and roomed with her cousin, Susan. While there, she met her husband, Bob Blair. When Bob received a job offer, they moved to Anchorage, Alaska where they were married. They were together for more than forty years until Bob passed away earlier this year.

Becky was a loving woman with a big heart. She loved animals, all creatures great and small, especially cats. She enjoyed reading and liked to relax watching Animal Planet, or Monty Python movies.

She is survived by her sister Jeannie Dunlap, nephew Roger Dunlap, her “sister-cousin” Ronda Richison, and many loving cousins.

Becky is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bob, and brother-in-law Larry Dunlap.
