Raymond R. Bowling

Raymond R. Bowling, 55, was born on December 23, 1963 and passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at 12:45 pm.

He is survived by his 2 daughters, Brittany (Randy) Zeigler and Desiree Bowling; former spouse, Paula Bowling; father, Rufus Bowling; and 3 grandchildren.  Raymond is also survived by his sister, Angela Smith; brother, Bob Carter; 2 step-sisters; 4 nephews and 2 nieces.  He is preceded in death by his mother, Karen Ann Gilbert; grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.

Raymond worked for 20+ years as a Nurse for Wishard Memorial Hospital.    He was a huge animal lover with a fondness for horses and dogs; and Raymond loved to spend time with his family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Flanner Buchanan – Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN from 12-2pm with a Celebration of Life Ceremony immediately following.   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are encouraged to the Indianapolis Humane Society.
