Raymond P. Adams

October 16, 1929 — September 18, 2015

Raymond Paul Adams, of Indianapolis, IN went to be with his Heavenly Father on September 18, 2015. Ray was born October 16, 1929, and was 85 years old. Ray's mother and father were members of Linwood Christian Church, and he was an active, enthusiastic part of the Linwood community throughout his life. He served proudly in the Korean War with the United States Army, and he was a member of Millersville Lodge for 59 years. In 1984 he founded R. Adams Roofing, Inc. Ray was a very dedicated husband, father and grandfather, and filled his days with grace, dignity, and love. Ray is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Juanita (Savage) Adams; his son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Maria Adams; his daughter, Diane Adams; and his grandchildren, Jessica, Michael, Tina, and her husband, John. He was preceded in death by his parents, Valentine and Clella Adams and his siblings, Glenn and Norma. The Adams family would like to thank all of the many special people who have provided loving care in his home. Memorial Contributions can be made to Linwood Christian Church or The Alzheimer's Association in honor of Juanita Adams. Family and friends may call from 4:00pm-7:00pm Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park at East 10722 E. Washington St. A Masonic Service will be held at 6:45 PM Tuesday at Flanner and Buchanan. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Linwood Christian Church, 4424 E Michigan St, Indianapolis, IN with a visitation at the church beginning at 10 AM, and graveside service following at Washington Park East.
