Raymond Matthew Lucas

Raymond Matthew Lucas, 81, of Connersville passed away March 16, 2022. He was born September 6, 1940, in Augusta, Kentucky, the son of the late Ernest and Sylvia (Conrey) Lucas.

Raymond was a top salesman for Williamson Plating Company. He was an avid animal lover, and enjoyed reading his Bible, hunting, fishing, golfing, and talking/helping everyone he came in contact with. Raymond Lucas will be dearly missed and always remembered.

He is survived by his daughter in Colorado, Claudia van de Sandt, two grandchildren Michael and Christina, and 3 great grandchildren Devynn, Braedy, and Ayla. His daughter in Indiana, two grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren; special friend Lorrene Peters; several nieces and nephews; and his canine companion, Mosley. He is preceded in passing by his 3 sisters Wilma Appleby, Ruth Showalter, and Jean Wright; and a brother, Kenneth Earl Lucas.
