Raymond John Schultz

Raymond John Schultz, 75, Carmel, passed away December 22, 2010. He was born December 19, 1935, in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Alexander and Elizabeth (Augustyniak) Schultz. He married Linda Price Schultz on July 5, 1958. Raymond and Linda moved to the Carmel area in 1977, where he worked as an architect until his death. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus #3433. He served in the U.S. Army Airborne and he enjoyed snow skiing, sailing, bowling, and flying as a private pilot. Raymond loved life, family and friends. Raymond is survived by his wife, Linda; five sons, Alan (Colleen), Jay, Ken(Kendra), Dan (Terri), Steven (Jill); grandchildren, Cassandra, Richard, Michael, Whitney, Corinne, Alex, Harrison, Rachel, Kenneth, Kyra, Nick, Brian, Kimberly, Daniel, Michelle, Katie; three sisters, Charlene Mueller, Joyce Gawronski, Laverne Harkins; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Diana L. Schultz; sister, Elaine Ruesing; two brothers-in-law, Art Ruesing and Joseph Gawronski. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 27, 2010, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 10655 Haverstick Road. Visitation will be from 3-8:00 p.m. Sunday, December 26, 2010, with the Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center Carmel, 325 East Carmel Drive, and also one hour prior to the mass at the church.
