Raymond Joseph Bredemann, 60, of Indianapolis, died peacefully Monday, February 14, 2011 at his home, surrounded by family.
Ray was born February 18, 1950 in Chicago, IL. He graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1972 with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting.
He worked for WRTV 6 for over thirty years and was their night time assignment editor for the last eleven years. He loved to give of his time and volunteered for Second Helpings food rescue as well as doing taxes for low income families.
Ray was preceded in death by his father, Raymond J. Bredemann, Sr. He is survived by his loving wife of over 37 years, Sue; his children, Steve and Amanda; mother, Anna; sister, Rita (Jerry) Schwartz; brother, Len (Theresa) Bredemann; grandchildren, Tylor Bredemann, Matthew, Christian, Adrianna, and Ava Renzulli.
Funeral Services will be 5 p.m. Sunday, February 20 at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center – Broad Ripple, where friends are invited to gather from 2 p.m. until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial gifts be made to Second Helpings food rescue.
