Raymond F Betker Sr. was born on November 3, 1933 in Kecksberg Pennsylvania to George F. and Sara K. Betker he was married to the love of his life for 66 years to Rosa M. Betker. Raymond was taken to his heavenly home on November 9th 2025 to be with his beloved wife Rosa and his son William H. Betker. Who proceeded him in death. Raymond Sr. was survived by his Sons- Raymond F Betker Jr, James E Betker, Darryl Macy and his Daughters - Laura K Triplett, Victoria L Betker/Vandevoren (Allen), Kim Macy and his Grand-kids-Timothy Triplett (ShelleyTriplett), Ashley Fallen (Dustin Fallen), Dennis/Raymond Betker, James M. Betker, Kyle Betker (Shanna), Hollie Betker, Debra Betker (Michael Facio), Chevelle and Ariya Betker. Great-grandkids Liam and Jackson Triplett, Nevaeh Fallen, Declan and Serenity Byrd and Raelynn Facio. Raymond Sr. enjoyed watching Rifleman, playing and feeding his dogs, sitting on the porch swing with his wife

Rosa, seeing and spending time with his family, he also enjoyed cross word puzzles and coloring. Raymond was a navy veteran who served honorably in the Korean War. Raymond was affectionately known, as a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him. We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him. Heavens gain was our loss of our husband, dad, brother, uncle, grandpa, Great-Grandpa, and best friend. He will be missed by all. (Services provided by his good friend Kenny Pitcock)

A visitation will be held on Monday, November 17, 2025, at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St. Indianapolis, IN, 46229, from 12:00PM-2PM. A funeral service will begin, following the visitation at 2PM.
