Ray L. Marcum

Ray L. Marcum, 73 of Indianapolis, IN was born May 10, 1942 and passed away on November 18, 2015. He was born in Laurel, IN to Ruford and Evelyn Marcum. He retired from Warren Township Schools and was a member of Zion United Church of Christ since 1971. Ray loved to fish but most of all, he enjoyed his grandchildren and was very supportive of them. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Shirley Marcum. Surviving to cherish his memory is his son, Darrell Marcum, his grandchildren, Noah Marcum, Emma Marcum, Makayla Marcum, his siblings, Ruford Marcum, Jr. (Mary), Danny Marcum (Brenda), Jane Roberts (Daryl), Joe Marcum, Delbert Marcum (Sherri) and Darren Marcum, as well as many nieces and nephews. Friends may visit with Rays family from 1-3 PM Sunday, November 22, 2015 at Flanner and Buchanan Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis.
