Ray J. Robertson

Ray Robertson 73, of Indianapolis, IN passed away November 4, 2014. He was born on July 9, 1941, to the late John and Flossie Young-Robertson. Ray was a union member of Local 440 for 39 years and retired in 2002. He loved listening to Banjo music and was an avid collector. Ray is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Rachel Ann Robertson; sister, Joyce Robertson Martin; brothers, Willard, James and infant Bobby Robertson He is survived by his wife of 34 years Deborah "Debbie" Robertson; daughters, April Carol Robertson, Shannon Leah Robertson; son, John R. Robertson; sister, Lois Dale (James) Myers; brothers, William Raymond Robertson, Kenneth (Deborah) Robertson, 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7th, 2014 from 4pm - 8pm at Flanner and Buchanan – Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN. Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11am on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at the funeral home. Burial will take place at New Crown Cemetery.
