Ramona Mcdaniel Anderson

Ramona Anderson, 81, Terre Haute formerly of Avon, passed away July 14, 2011. She was born March 29, 1930, in Terre Haute, the daughter of the late Richard and Margaret (O’Hern) McDaniel. She served in the U.S. Air Force as a nurse during the Korean War. She retired in 2001, as a charge nurse from Westview Hospital. She is survived by her children, Mark Anderson, Westfield; Michael (Christi) Anderson, Lebanon; Lisa Anderson, Avon; seven grandchildren, Kimberly and Sierra Anderson, Patrick, Andrew, Christopher Anderson, and Tyler and Jack Solomon; great grandson, Caleb; sister, Marcella (Norval) Blankenship, Terre Haute; two brothers, Richard McDaniel, Ted (Sandy) McDaniel, Terre Haute; and her beloved Pug, Brittney. There are not any public services planned. Arrangements were entrusted to Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center Carmel.
