Ramona Jacquelyn Malone

Ramona J. Malone, 75, went home to the Lord on December 8, 2013. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on August 10, 1938, to Carl and Jeanette Kremiller. While her children were young, Ramona was blessed to spend 17 wonderful years as a stay- at- home mother. Upon entering the workforce, she concentrated on sales and staff support positions. At the time of her death, she was employed as a secretary for the Indiana Department of Environmental Management in the Office of Water Quality. Ramona was a longtime member of East 91st St. Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; by her former husband, Jack C. McMonigle; by an infant son, Kevin Michael McMonigle; and by her sister, Carlene Tabor. She is survived by her beloved children: three sons- Patrick (Sherri) McMonigle and Peter (Rebecca) McMonigle, both of Indianapolis, and Jack D. (Linda) McMonigle, of Vancouver, Washington; and a daughter, Shannon (Tom) McMonigle Della-Penna, also of Indianapolis. She is survived also by five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Right to Life, your local Humane Society, or the F.A.C.E. Clinic. Visitation will be at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park North on Thursday, December 13, 2013, from 6:00PM to 8:00PM. The funeral service, a celebration of life, will be conducted at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park North on Friday, December 13, 2013, at 1:00 PM, followed by burial at Crown Hill Cemetery.
