Ralph Werking

Ralph B. Werking Jr. 91, of Indianapolis, passed away September 27, 2013. Ralph was born in Elwood, In on November 19, 1921 to parents Ralph Sr. and Nellie (Mitchel) Werking. Ralph was an active member of Northwood Christian Church and was a loving and devoted husband to Marciel (Smith), whom he married on May 6, 1943. Ralph was also a longtime member of the Sertoma Club and was a proud WWII Army Veteran. Ralph is survived by his sister-in-law, Pat Fidler; niece, Nancy (Robert) Holmes, and nephew, Mike (Penny) Fidler and their families. He was preceded in death by his wife and parents. Funeral Services will be at 12 noon on Wednesday, October 1, at Northwood Christian Church, 4550 Central Ave., Indianapolis. Visitation will be at 11:00 am until the time of service. Graveside services will be held at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson, IN at 2:30 pm on Wednesday. Memorial contributions can be made to the Food Pantry at Northwood Christian Church, 4550 Central Ave., Indianapolis.
