Ralph Harmon Weeks, M.D., age 77, currently residing in Indianapolis, IN, passed away April 29, 2014. (He previously resided and practiced Ophthalmology in Ft. Worth, TX, and Weslaco, TX.) He was born July 28, 1936, in Indianapolis, the son of the late Holman Ellis and Mary Ann (Hill) Weeks.
Accolades: A graduate of Broad Ripple High School, Class of '54. Butler University, Class of '60. Indiana University School of Medicine, Class of '66. Higher accomplishments: a loving father of 3 daughters. His generosity to others was exponential. He was a giver of good deeds with a humbled heart.
Dr. Weeks is survived by his three daughters, Caryl Murphy (husband, Charles Nicholas Murphy), K. Weeks, Mary Katharine Weeks, M.D. (husband Matthew Lytwyn); two grandchildren, Christian and Ashlynn Murphy; sister, Mary Jane Weeks-Smith (husband Charles Smith); nephew, Gregory Smith; and niece, Colleen Smith. He was preceded in passing by his siblings, David Weeks, Francis Weeks, and Barbara Weeks.
A Celebration of Life will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday, May 3, 2014, at Flanner and Buchanan – Broad Ripple, 1305 East Broad Ripple Avenue.
