Ralph Crenshaw

Ralph A. Crenshaw 92, Indianapolis, passed away July 1, 2014. Ralph was born in Bicknell, IN on August 5, 1921 to parents, James W. and Garnett (Wedding) Crenshaw. He served his country during WWII in the U.S. Navy. During his career, Ralph worked as a Building Engineer for Indiana Bell, retiring in 1981. In his spare time, Ralph enjoyed spending time with his family, photography and some traveling. Ralph was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jane (Kliener) Crenshaw and two sisters. He is survived by his children: Paul A. Crenshaw, Diane Merkle (Terry), Allan Crenshaw (Linda), Kevin Crenshaw (Doreen), and Mary Gillespie; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 0214 in Flanner and Buchanan- Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, in the Good Shepherd Chapel, where friends may call from 10 a.m. until the service time. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Ralph's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
