Ralph Raymond Bradley, born January 11, 1917 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the youngest son of John B and Viola Bradley, passed away on December 11, 2014 at the age of 97. During his life's journey he survived through the hard times, and lived his life to the fullest during the good times. His life was filled with many amazing adventures and he told countless stories to the delight of his extended family, friends and all who would take the time to listen. In 2008, Ralph wrote and published in his book, "Journey Through Time," how he survived the Great Depression, served his country overseas in an elite fighting force in Burma during WWII that became known as Merrill's Marauders, and explored the west during his adventurous Mining and Prospecting years from 1955 to 1975 in the American west and southwest into Mexico, and the lessons he learned on how to deal with the obstacles that inevitable come our way. During his working life, Ralph had a knack for seeking out opportunities and pursuing his goals with lots of energy and determination. He developed a positive work ethic early in life and enjoyed the adventures that came before him as he went from one opportunity to another. His career was a fascinating adventure in which he kept open to possibilities, did his own research, and studied each step he took before making a commitment. There were some surprises along the way, that caught him off guard, but each was a learning experience from which he bounced back and continued to move forward. During his retirement years, Ralph enjoyed a quiet and peaceful life in his cottage along the White River on the northeast side of Indianapolis. He loved the changing seasons of the coming of spring, the warm days of summer, the beauty of the autumn leaves and the wonders of winter and the new fallen snows, for in them he also saw the various seasons of his life which unfolded like a rich tapestry before his eyes. Ralph is survived by his younger sister Beulah and his sister-in-law Georgia who was married for 80 yrs to his deceased brother Paul, who lived to be a 100 yrs old.
