Rachel Marie Tubbs

Rachel Marie Tubbs of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on December 10, 2024, at the age of 93.

She was born on December 4, 1931, in Mt. Pine Arkansas to Elon Fredrick and Lossie Belle Gibson. She had three older sisters and one younger brother, who all preceded her in death.

Marie is preceded in death by her husband, JD Tubbs, her son, Anthony Tubbs, Son in law Frank (Butch) Jania, and Daughter in law Sally Tubbs.

She is survived by her four children, Edd Shepherd, Joyce Jania, Mike Tubbs, Pam Dantzinger (Michael), and Melissa Blair (Dave), 14 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren, with number 15 due in February.

Known as Marie to her many friends, she had been a member of the Speedway Moose Lodge since September 7, 2004. She enjoyed her Friday and Saturday nights there, spending time with her friends, line dancing, and listening to the bands, especially Honky Tonk Attitude.
