Quinnie W. Walker

Quinnie W. Bishop Walker 92, of Indianapolis, passed away on April 16, 2013, at the home of her daughter, whom was caring for her. Quinnie was born the daughter of Robert Lee and Candes Mabrey Bishop on April 27, 1920 in Danville AL. On April 6, 1940 she married John David Walker, together they celebrated 59 years of marriage. She is preceded in death her parents, her husband and her son Ronald Walker. She is survived by her daughters, Kay (Herb) Bazemore, Jerrilyn (Tony) Thetford, and Shirley (Steve) Park; her daughter-in-law, Sandra Walker; her grandchildren, Ronna (Craig) Howell, Todd (Tammy) Walker, Stacy (Greg) King, Sean (Karie) Walker, Dustin (Andrea) Bazemore, Jared (Lori) Theftord, Courtney (Derek) Jackson Whitney (Doug) Leeper, Katie (Doug) Christian and Andrew Park and 14 great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be on Friday, April 19th at 1 p.m. in Flanner and Buchanan - Decatur , with visitation there from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Interment will be in Washington Park North Cemetery.
