Quinderia A. Young

Quinderia “Quindie” Anne Young, 67, of Avon, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2010. She was born on November 27, 1942 in Martinsville, IN to John L. and Dorothy L. (Masters) Livingston. Quindie was a proud breast cancer survivor and loved her family very much. She also enjoyed shopping (and returning) and was Wal-Mart’s best customer. Quindie is survived by her husband of 48 years, William Young; children, Lisa Hopf and Douglas Young; son-in-law, Bill Hopf; grandchildren, Ryan and Elizabeth Hopf. She is also survived by brothers, David Livingston, John Livingston and Mark Livingston, along with her beloved chocolate lab, Bentley. Visitation for Mrs. Young will be held at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center – Speedway on Thursday, September 23, 2010 from 5 until 8pm. Funeral services will be Friday afternoon at 2pm, also at the funeral home. Burial will take place in West Ridge Park Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
