Polly Farmer

Polly Farmer, 76, Greenfield, passed away January 26, 2014. She was born to Paul and Lola Doorne in Worthington, IN on January 25, 1938. Polly was a master cake decorator, and worked in the bakery at Wal-Mart. She loved her entire family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Polly was very talented and enjoyed arts, crafts, and flower gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Farmer, and her parents. Polly is survived by her sister, Paula Morphew; her children, Michael Nieman (Sheryl), Kelley Sutherlin (Dennis), and Shelley Murphy (Kent); her grandchildren, Mindy Nieman, Lindsay Nieman (Ryan Olson), Eric Nieman, Ryan Sutherlin, Evan Sutherlin, Tanner Sutherlin, Matthew Murphy, and Lucy Murphy; her great-grandchildren, Meagan Nieman, Lucas Nieman, and Brynley Olson; and her nieces and nephew, Lola Cody, Rhonda Craig, and Bill Starkey. A Celebration of Polly's life will be held on Thursday, January 30 at 2 PM at Flanner and Buchanan- Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, with visitation from 11 AM until service time.
