Phyllis Joan Love

Phyllis "Joan" Love, 83 of Indianapolis passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2013. She was born on August 15, 1929 in Indianapolis to James Edwin and Margaret Ruth (Crouch) Love. Joan was a graduate of Clark High School and attended Franklin College. She worked as an accountant for the Ransburg Corporation and ITW Gema prior to her retirement. Joan was very involved with her church, John Knox Presbyterian, where she served as a Deacon, Elder, Choir Member, Substitute Organist and Financial Secretary. She was also the treasurer for the Westmount HOA. Joan is survived by her sisters, Wilma Weaver and Waneta Barrow; special niece, Lisa Love; and several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Norma Phillips and Janet Kloepfer; brother, Ronald Love. Visitation for Joan will be held at Flanner and Buchanan-Speedway on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 from 4 until 8pm. Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 10:30am at John Knox Presbyterian Church with cremation to follow. Memorial contributions may be made to John Knox Presbyterian Church.
