Phyllis Dee Overbey

Phyllis Dee Overbey (Carlyle) was born on January 26, 1937 in Indianapolis, Indiana. 

Phyllis grew up in a large family and married Jack Overbey. Jack was a wise and warm man who passed away on November 29, 1998. Phyllis and Jack were the loving parents of Debra, Lori and Craig Overbey.

Family was everything to Phyllis. Just ask her family: brothers and sisters, son and daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and even her nieces and nephews.

Phyllis was wise and warm just like her husband, Jack. She was strong, fiery, feisty and quick to win/beat you in a game of cards, coloring contest, or Words with Friends. She was a woman of few words, but they were always powerful and full of wisdom. She had an exceptional sense of humor and loved her family with all of her heart. 

She will be missed greatly that is for sure. But, she will always be with every one of us because she changed our lives forever.
