Philip Powell Tumey

Philip "Phil" Tumey, age 80, passed away June 18, 2024, after a battle with liver cancer. Phil is survived by his wife Gloria of 48 years and his children Mariah and Devin.

Phil was not only the most incredible father to Mariah and Devin, but also an amazing grandfather to grandchildren Diego, Madison, and Lili. He will truly be missed by his family.

Phil was born in Needmore Indiana on July 29, 1943, to Joseph and Ruth Tumey. He graduated from IU Bloomington in 1965, served in the US Army, and went on to be a plant manager at Endress and Hauser for most of his professional career.

Phil enjoyed gardening, wood working, home remodeling, and crossword puzzles. He also had a great love for animals and will be missed by his dog Boscoe.
