Philip 'Phil' Lammers

Philip M. "Phil" Lammers, 63 of Indianapolis passed away Monday, May 28, 2012. Phil was born January 20, 1949 in Beech Grove, IN to the late Herman E. and Gladys M. Dodds Lammers. He was a graduate of Indiana University and served in the Green Berets with the US Army. Phil was Finance Manager for Domtar Paper Co., LLC, having been with the company for over 30 years. Phil was a member of Second Presbyterian Church, was 1st Mate at the White River Yacht Club, and served the Sandy Point Homeowners Association as Treasurer from 2001-02, President 2003-04 and long range planning 2004-07. A gathering celebrating Phil's life will begin at 3:00 pm Saturday, June 2 at Flanner and Buchanan-Carmel, followed by a memorial service at 6:00 pm. Phil is survived by his wife, Connie Hilton-Lammers; children, Joshua Hilton, Daniel Lammers, Jessica (fiancée, Myk Jefferis)Adams and Pamela (husband, Joe) Schindler; grandchildren, Allison Schindler, Kaitlyn Adams, Olivia Schindler, Dean Schindler and Izaih Hilton; brother, Ralph "Bud" (wife, Judy) Lammers; step-sister, Karen McCary.
