Phany Kuch

Phany Kuch, 56 of Westfield, passed away at her home, surrounded by her family on Sunday, April 2, 2023.  She was born in Cambodia to the late Kun Kuch and Ay Chhe.

Phany was a graduate of IUPUI, receiving her nursing degree.  She worked as a registered nurse for 30 years, starting with the former Wishard Hospital and later retiring from Eskenazi Health.

Family and friends are invited to gather from 1:30 pm until 2:30 pm Friday, April 7 at Flanner Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Conner Suite 9700 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250, where a prayer service will begin at 2:30 pm. Following the service, there will be a police escort for those wishing to attend the burial at Hamilton Memorial Park Cemetery 4180 Westfield Road, Westfield, IN 46062.

Phany is survived by her husband, Sokhan Chhy; children, Padda (wife, Solida) Chim, Chhattrah Chim, Sokvannara Chhy and Andrew Chhy; siblings, Sary Prom, Veary Ly, Sarim Kuch, Vanna Pin; grandson, baby Chim is due in July.
