Peter C. Russ

Peter C. Russ, age 92 of Indianapolis, died March 28, 2011. Mr. Russ was retired after many years of service at Allison Transmission. He served his country in the US Army during World War II and was a long-time member of Charity Tabernacle Church. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Mary Russ, and his second wife and mother to his stepsons, Mary Kay Gendron Russ. Survivors include his stepsons, Ed and Mike Gendron, 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and several other extended-family members. Visitation will be 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 30 at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center – Decatur. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 31, at Charity Tabernacle Church; burial with Military Honors will follow at Floral Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests that memorial gifts take the form of donations to the Charity Tabernacle Church.
