Peggy Sue Hooker, 55, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on September 24, 2021. She was born on January 22, 1966 to the late Chester Leroy and Nelly Branham in Indianapolis. After graduating from Arsenal Tech High School, she went on to become a loving mother to two adoring daughters, Amanda and Donna. She worked at Anthem assisting in clerical work for the insurance company. Peggy loved taking family trips with her daughters, she took pride in her cooking and sharing a good meal, she was an avid race fan, devoted church member, she loved collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia and shopping. She was loved by many and was very active in her community. She is survived by her daughters, Amanda Hooker and Donna Lenz, siblings Theresa Thrush and Chester Branham, 4 nieces, 1 nephew, 4 great-nephews, 3 great-nieces and 1 great-great nephew. She is preceded in passing by her husband, Robert “Bob” Hooker, her brother Larry, and her nephew Michael. A time of visiting will be held Sunday, October 10, 2021 from 12PM-3PM with funeral services to begin at 3PM at Flanner Buchanan -Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229.
