Peggy Ann Reeves, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2026, in Coatesville, Indiana, at the age of 70. Born on February 16, 1956, her life was marked by devotion to family, faith, and a passion for the simple joys that enrich daily living.
Peggy exhibited warmth and grace that endeared her to all who knew her. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother, whose happiness blossomed in the presence of her children and grandchildren. She relished the art of cooking, found solace in the pages of her favorite books, delighted in the magic of movies, and cherished every moment spent with her dear family. Her deep faith was a cornerstone of her existence, guiding her through life’s challenges and triumphs alike.
Her surviving family members mourn the loss of a cherished presence and celebrate the legacy she leaves behind. She is survived by her son, Rocky Reeves Jr. (and Dena); her daughter, Kerry Thomas (and Jaime); and her cherished grandchildren: Chas (and Alex), Rocky III (and Jess), Isaac (and Elias), Cody, and Destiny. Her great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Aurora, Charlotte, Jaxson, Rocky IV, and Knox, were a continual source of joy and pride. Peggy also leaves her brothers Danny (and Collette) and Neil; along with a loving host of nieces, nephews, and an extended circle of spiritual family and friends who enriched her life with their kindness and support.
She was preceded in death by her father, Cornelius Anderson Sr., and mother, Shirley (Roberts) Anderson; her sons, Bobby Reeves and Joshua Reeves; and her brother, Chuck.
The community will have the opportunity to pay their respects during the visitation on June 18, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Flanner Buchanan Floral Park in Indianapolis. The funeral service will be held there on June 19, 2026, beginning at 3:00 p.m., followed by interment at Floral Park Cemetery.
Peggy Ann Reeves’ life was a testament to love’s enduring power, the grace of faith, and the comfort of family bonds. Her memory will forever remain a treasured beacon to those whose lives she touched with her gentle spirit and unwavering heart.
