Peggy L. Stephens

Peggy L. Stephens, 91, Carmel, passed away March 9, 2015. She was born February 17, 1924, Indianapolis, the daughter of the late Estill Everett and Minnie Myra Karsner. She married Maurice Stephens in 1967, who preceded her in passing. She later married Bert Bailey in 1992, who also preceded her in passing. Peggy was an excellent cook and talented artist, who loved to paint. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Fred) Rauh; son, Jonathan (Gina) Stephens; grandchildren, Tracy L. Koehl, Jason E. Rauh, Alexander Stephens, Margaret Stephens, and William Stephens; and great grandchildren, Hannah L. Keaton, Mitchell W. Keaton, and Justin E. Rauh. She was preceded in passing by two sisters, Mary VonSprecklesen and Joyce Pauley. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 13, 2015, at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 East Washington Street. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
