Peggy Ann Rode

Peggy A. Rode, 88,of Wanamaker, IN passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at 9 a.m. atthe Altenheim Senior Living Center. Peggy was born August 20, 1927 in Palestine, IL. She was a stay-at-homemom and grandma and cared for her family. Peggy was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Wanamaker, IN.

Peggy is survived by herhusband of 66 years, Leroy Rode; children, David Rode (Donna) of Fountaintown,IN, Sheila Hall (Randal) of Wanamaker, IN, Melissa Farlow (Mike) ofIndianapolis and Thomas Rode; grandchildren, Randal Hall Jr. (Amy), JordanBellamy, Austin Hall, Alicia Rode, Amanda Rode and Natalie Farlow; 4great-grandchildren; brother, John Atto of Avon, IN. Peggy is preceded in death by her parents Rayand Hazel Atto and brother, Ray Atto.

A Viewing will be heldfrom 4:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 and 1 hour prior to the funeralservice, at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St.,Indianapolis, IN 46229. Funeralservices will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Washington Park EastCemetery.
