Peggy A. Casteel

Peggy A. Casteel, 67, Indianapolis passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at her home. She was born January 21, 1945 in Fayetteville, West Virginia the daughter of Stella (Rash) and George Blevins. Peggy taught kindergarten at Baptist Academy and also worked in the day care at Villa Oaks Baptist Church where she was a member. She enjoyed reading, shopping and crocheting things for family and friends. Peggy is survived by her husband, Truman; daughters, Barbara Bellew, Carla Sessums, and Charity Buchanan; son, Joseph Taylor; step-children, Joseph, David, Jeff and Michael Casteel, Marie Michelle Shirley and Leanne Reed; thirty-two grandchildren and several great grandchildren; brothers, Bill, Ronald, and Donald Blevins She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Joyce Taylor and four sisters. Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 28, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan-Floral Park 425 N. Holt Road, with visitation from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M.
