Pauline Head

Pauline Burton Head, 87, of Indianapolis passed away November 15, 2012. She was born June 3, 1925 in Pontiac, IL. to Roscoe and Dorinda Burton. She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers Raymond Burton and Willard Burton, a sister Hazel Jay, a grandson Devon Head and daughter- in-law Laveana Head. Pauline worked in the cafeteria for the Decatur school system, retiring after 30 years of service and was a member of the Valley Mills Christian Church. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, L.W. "Woody" Head, a daughter Sandra (George) Johnson, 2 sons, Donald R. Head and David W. (Brenda) Head, 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday from 4-7PM in the Valley Mills Christian Church, 5555 Kentucky Ave., Indpls 46221. The funeral will be Monday at 10 AM in the church with burial to follow in West Newton Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Flanner and Buchanan - Decatur.
