Mrs. Pauline Ione Hahn of 11950 Alpharetta Highway, Alpharetta, Georgia, 30009, passed on to her eternal home on September 13, 2026. Pauline is remembered for her smile and generosity, and that all her life she lived by faith in God.
She was born June 12, 1929, in Crown Point, Indiana, to Virgil Clinton Clark and Margaret Lu (Gerner) Clark. In 1942 the family moved to Plymouth, Indiana where Pauline graduated from Lincoln High School in 1947. She worked for Dr. Frank Bauer in Plymouth for 7 years and was employed by the News-Mirror in Bourbon for 9 years.
Pauline was united in marriage to Warren Eugene Hahn in Plymouth on August 13, 1950, in a double wedding ceremony with her sister Margaret and Glenn Danner.
Pauline, Warren, and family lived in Bourbon for 18 years, then moved to Indianapolis for 8 years. They moved to Carmel, Indiana in 1976 and lived there for 23 years before moving to The Villages, Florida in 1999. She moved to Alpharetta, Georgia in 2023. The Hahns wintered at P.G.A. in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida from 1984 to 1999, and spent their summers in Indiana.
Mrs. Hahn was preceded in death by her husband Warren, her mother and father, her sister and pen pal since 1941, Joyce Sykes of East Yorkshire, England.
She was a member of North Lake Presbyterian Church in Lady Lake, Florida, R-4-U Club in Plymouth, the Red Hats, and was a collector of milk bottles.
She is survived by a son, Douglas Eugene Hahn and wife Kathy of Carmel, Indiana, and a daughter, Beverly Sue Newkirk and husband Bruce of Alpharetta, Georgia; three grandsons, Chris Hahn and wife Amy of Gilbert, Arizona, Andy Hahn and wife Kara of Noblesville, Indiana,
Michael Hahn of Carmel, Indiana. Also surviving are seven great-grandchildren, Connor and Sydney of Gilbert, Arizona; Palmer, Porter and Prestin Hahn and Molly and Spencer Locke of Noblesville, Indiana.
Survivors also include many dear nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of Pauline’s life will be held at the Flanner – Buchanan Funeral Home – Carmel, Indiana (325 E. Carmel Drive, Carmel, IN) on October 3, 2026, with visitation at 10:00 am and the service at 11:00 am. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. Reception to follow.
