Paula R. Chamblin

Passed away March 18, 2022, with her loving husband by her side. Paula was a graduate of Lawrence Central High School and Bryman Institute.  Paula enjoyed a rewarding career in the Insurance Industry and always found time for volunteer work with Big Sisters, Child Advocates and United Ways Read Up program.  Paula’s favorite hobbies were working with stained glass and acrylic intuitive painting. She always said she was blessed to have enjoyed a long-term loving marriage, rewarding career, great friendships and living on the lake.

Paula endured a long history of blood cancer and appreciated every day she was given.  Her motto – Carpe Diem.  Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass but rather learning to dance in the rain. Paula is survived by her husband Don Chamblin, sisters Carol (Frank) Rodenbeck and Janet Ross and niece Kimberly (Dave) Eaton.

Memorial services will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at Flanner Buchanan-Broad Ripple, where friends may gather from 12 Noon until the service time.  Burial will be in Washington Park North Cemetery.
