Paula Jean (Utterback) Jones

Paula Jean Jones (Utterback) passed away surrounded by her family on August 19th, 2015 at the age of 60. Paula is survived by her loving partner of thirty-five years, Linda K. Stevens; her mother, Theresa Biddinger Utterback, her daughter Courtney Jones-Hunt, Son-in-Law, Paul Hunt; her son Joshua Jones, and his loving partner, Rachael Rea; her sister Patrica (Maxon) Rohlman , Brother-in-Law Mike Rohlman; her brother Joe Maxon,; her sister Phyllis (Utterback) Williams, Brother-in-Law RonWilliams; her sister Pamela (Utterback) Jones, Brother-in-Law, Steve Jones. Paula will be remembered by her extended family of Jennie and Ray Warrick, Priscilla and Paul Brown, and Andrew Stevens. Paula will be missed by her grandchildren, the greatest source of pride and joy in her life; her Grand-daughter, Vivian Michael Jones, daughter of Courtney Jones-Hunt and Charlie Morgan, Grand-son, Kaleb Paul Jones-Hunt, son of Courtney Jones-Hunt and Paul Hunt, Grand-daughters Danielle Marissa, Aidrey LeeAnn, Carly Mackenzie Hunt;(all bonus daughters of Paul Hunt and Catie Kettery), Grand-son, Triston Ferrell and Dalton Wayne Tolle, sons of Josh Jones and Joyce Tolle-Mauk, and Grand-son Landon Rea, son of Josh Jones and Rachel Rea. Paula is survived by her nieces and nephews, LeeAnn (Chappell) Wentz, and her husband Darryl Wentz; Greg Chappell; Sarah (Jones) Pichon,; Rebecca (Jones) Leeper,; and Jessica (Jones) Clark; Kelly Smith; Scott Brown and his wife Michelle (Tibbs); Angie Schartz-McClemore and her husband Johnny; Steven Kusek and his husband Patrick; Bill Warrick and his wife Robin Warrick, Zach, Hannah, Avery, Jesse, Marleigh, Chandler, Austin, Samantha, Tobin, Tyler, Madison, and Cade. Paula is survived by her great nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly; Amanda Wentz and her son, Isaac Tanner, Christopher Wentz, Bailey Clark, Addison Clark; Phyllis Pichon, Will Pichon, Evelyn Pichon, Alex Leeper. Paula is survived by her sweet, loving and most ferocious guard-dog Reno Jones-Stevens hyphen Hunt. Paula was preceded in death by her son, Jason Douglas Utterback, and her father Hugh "Duke" Utterback. Paula worked several years in the Hotel Industry, eventually retiring from Logo Athletic to become a full-time grandmother to Vivian Michael Jones and shortly thereafter to Kaleb Paul Jones-Hunt. Kaleb and Grandma had a very special relationship and I would be remiss if I did not add a short note about how close the two are and how Grandma loves him so very much and how worried she is about Kaleb now that she will not be here to make his strawberry milk, pick him up from school, fix his corn-dogs and help him with his homework. Paula was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her Partner, Linda Stevens and her children Courtney and Josh and their respective spouses/partners and children. Paula and Linda recently travelled to their dream vacation spot in Big Sur, CA, but Paula's favorite place to be was at the lake driving the boat with Linda and their many special friends. A Celebration of Paula's life is scheduled from 2 – 5pm on August 30th, 2015 at her daughter's home located at 10864 Lodge Court, Indianapolis, IN 46231. This will be a causal event. Dress casual and if you have anything tie-dyed, please wear in her memory. Drinks and food will be provided. In lieu of flowers, please Donate Blood to help all of those still fighting the fight.
